A Beautiful Heart

The more hurt and pain you have gone thru in life, the stronger and more beautiful your heart will be.....

One day a young woman was standing in the middle of the town proclaiming that she had the most beautiful heart in the whole valley.

A large crowd gathered and they all admired her heart for it was perfect. There was not a mark or a flaw in it. Yes, they all agreed it truly was the most beautiful heart they had ever seen. The young woman was very proud and boasted more loudly about her beautiful heart.

Suddenly, an old man appeared at the front of the crowd and said, "Why your heart is not nearly as beautiful as mine." The crowd and the young woman looked at the old man's heart. It was beating strongly, but full of scars, it had places where pieces had been removed and other pieces put in, but they didn't fit quite right and there were several jagged edges. In fact, in some places there were deep gouges where whole pieces missing.

The people stared. How can he say his heart is more beautiful?? they thought. The young woman looked at the old man's heart and saw its state and laughed. "You must be joking," she said. "Compare your heart with mine, mine is perfect and yours is a mess of scars and tears."
"Yes," said the old man, "Yours is perfect looking but I would never trade with you. You see, every scar represents a person to whom I have given my love - I tear out a piece of my heart and give it to them, and often they give me a piece of their heart which fits into the empty place in my heart, but because the pieces aren't exact, I have some rough edges, which I cherish, because they remind me of the love we shared. Sometimes I have given pieces of my heart away, and the other person hasn't returned a piece of his heart to me. These are the empty gouges - giving love is taking a chance. Although these gouges are painful, they stay open, reminding me of the love I have for these people too, and I hope someday they may return and fill the space I have waiting. So now do you see what true beauty is?"

The young woman stood silently with tears running down her cheeks. She walked up to the old man, reached into her perfect young and beautiful heart, and ripped a piece out. She offered it to the old man with trembling hands.

The old man took her offering, placed it in his heart and then took a piece from his old scarred heart and placed it in the wound in the young woman's heart. It fit, but not perfectly, as there were some jagged edges.

The young woman looked at her heart, not perfect anymore but more beautiful than ever, since love from the old man's heart flowed into hers.

They embraced and walked away side by side.

Dont let the devil dwell in

The prayer life in marriage life. It is the Lenten season. And there is this story from TV I saw that I want to share- Exorcism. Yes, it’s about the other’s dark side activities.
The story started when an old woman’s husband died from a quick severe illness. As what her story goes, her husband was a faithful husband, loving and devoted father to his children. But suddenly she found out that her husband had an affair with another woman, and he had another family with her. The story went out like high pressure compressed air. Then, some said her husband was so bad and violent to his other family. The woman was said to be battered and was no better provider to them. The wife couldn’t believe all of it. But there were evidence all of it. She was so angry and hid all of it inside her. Then one evening, her family heard something strange inside their house. Some of their belongings and figurines shattered like some force doing it. This happened many times after then, usually between 12midnight to 3AM. Then one evening she went out in her room and checked it out. She saw the mirror and glassware just shattered like someone is doing it when there is no one around. She was still so scared but able to gather all her will and asked loudly who’s doing it. Calmness followed then it stopped.
The next day, she went for a priest. The priest went to her home and tried to baptize the house with holy water.  To her surprised, coins from nowhere were throwing at them. The priest was even surprised when he himself couldn’t climb upstairs. After that, the situation was even worse.  Her children watching TV on day time unaware some figurines also went flying on the floor by unseen force. They were so scared they went out.  The wife so confused and couldn’t think what was going inside her home. Their home was not like this before. She prayed hard, kept on her novenas and went church praying.
One evening while she was in her kitchen she felt some droplets from her ceiling. She checked it and she was so scared to see blood on it. And the floor was also in blood. She took her rug and wiped the blood on the floor. Instantly she called her daughter and they went immediately to the san carlos seminary. Someone told them to visit san carlos seminary and look for the exorcist priest. Then they did it. The priest together with his group visited the house and prayed. They put some religious tools inside the house. Then the priest found out the origin of the demonic acts and told her, her house is being housed by a demon. He added, the demon was the product of her anger and hatred. It all came from her weakness that gave a portal of the said demon. It went to her house making unexplained incidents. For one week the situation got worsens. The priest prayed hard and healed her. Then slowly, and gradually the peace went back. The woman said that I never thought my anger I kept brought all unfortunate luck in my family. I was so touched the way my anger came to subside. The devil took advantage all of my hatred and entered in my family. It was an invitation I never wanted. But I thanked the Lord for saving me and my family. God is really there to save us. Just don’t let negative situation dwell in you. Devils find this amusing. Pray hard to our Lord Jesus.I am now at peace. We will be saved always.
